ILP Design- Prezi

For my Independent Learning Project, I used Prezi to create a presentation about watercolor techniques. Prezi is a presentation tool that exists online and allows the user to create an interactive presentation building off a present template. It allows the user to insert content such as images or PowerPoint slides within the prezi itself. Prezi functions on movement as the program pans from one slide to another, creating visual interest.

  1. Watercolor is my favorite medium is art. Having painted a few, I am always amazed how professionals pre-plan their light areas.

Did you make the video just for this Prezi? I like the camera angle.

A few recommendations. I've mentioned this on other comments. Make images of interest, like the artwork, full screen rather than small items as decoration. Also, since this is an art Prezi, clip art may not be the best choice. You apparently have watercolor supplies at home. Take pictures to accompany every frame, horizontal to match the computer screen size. Finally, again because this is an art project, try using a high resolution watercolor image for the background.

  2. I paint a lot. I think i'm better at acrylic painting though. My water color picture turned out great. If you wanna check it out it's on my web page blog post. Having a video like this would have been great to watch before I started painting with water colors, because my first few attempts were horrible. I ended buying water color pencils instead and they are great.

    1. Acrylic is the opposite from watercolors... don't you think? On a canvas, watercolors take away while acrylic builds up.
